The medicine for nasyam is mildly warmed.

Asked the patient to sit on a chair nd face and shoulder regions are massaged using little amount of oil.

After the massage mild steam will be given to the face.

After that asked to patient to lie down on the therapy table.

Then lukewarm medicine is poured into the nostrils alternately.

Immediately after administration of medicine,mild massage should be given on the face,palm,cheeks.

Inhale the medicine with moderate force and split it out through the mouth.

Then give medicated smoke inhalation nd gargling with warm saline water are done to expel out the residual mucus.

The nostrils are pathways to the brain. Nasyam can influence the brain and is used for various conditions like frozen shoulder, migraine, sinusitis, facial palsy, insomnia, mental disease, paralysis, pcod etc.
