SHIRODHARA THERAPY
Sirodhara is an ayurvedic treatment where warm,herbal oil (or) other liquids are gently poured onto the forehead in a continuous stream.The term “shiro” means “head” & “Dhara” means “Flow”in Sanskrit.shirodhara reduce stress,calm the nervous system,balance the body’s doshas. Ayurveda believes that shirodhara helps to balance the vata & pitta doshas,which are associated with anxity,stress & emotional imbalance.
The individual typically lies down on a massage table with their eyes covered.warm oil (or) other liquids are carefully poured onto the forehead in a continuous stream.The treatment usually lasts 30 to 60 minutes.
